This is my boat restoration of an Albin 27 pocket trawler. Every week I post a boat restoration video to document my progress on my boat restoration project. This episode I explain how I repaired the rotted portholes on the Albin 27. This is a great diy boat repair project. If you have an old or abandoned boat, chances are you have a similar boat project. Water had entered the coring of the cabin top and the plywood sub-core had rotted over the years. I had to remove the rotted parts and then replace with fiberglass and Coosa board. Coosa board is a fiberglass composite product that is lighter than plywood. This part of the boat refit was difficult and tedious but in the end I was very successful.
