This episode I discuss removing the tanks and the Nissan Ld-28 Diesel engine from the trawler. At some point during your trawler restoration you realize you have to remove everything from your boat in order to start from clean slate. While the marine diesel engine was a runner it needed to be repaired and overhauled. But parts for this marine diesel engine were scarce. It was time for a DIY boat project. I needed a do-it-yourself way to remove a 500 pound marine diesel from my pocket trawler. It turned out to be great boat restoration project in the end.
